Fortidia announces the acquisition of a majority stake in SI Express to expand its time-critical freight offering

Fortidia today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement for the acquisition of a majority stake in SI Express, an established Italian company specialized in time-critical freight solutions. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals. 

The acquisition strengthens Fortidia’s logistics capabilities, adding deep expertise across road, air and sea freight, while further consolidating the Group’s position in Italy.

Founded in 2000, SI Express has built more than 25 years of expertise in urgent logistics, providing tailor-made solutions where speed, reliability and flexibility are critical. Its operations focus on coordinating light and heavy road freight, as well as air and sea freight, supported by 24/7 customer service and established international partnership agreements, relying on proprietary technology.

Following the transaction, the existing shareholders, Red-Blacks S.r.l. and Harcos S.r.l., will retain minority stakes in SI Express and continue to contribute to the company’s next phase of growth alongside Fortidia.
